Pre-Dental Committee
The Pre-Dental track supports students preparing for dental school by offering resources on the DAT, application process, personal statement writing, and shadowing experiences. Our goal is to help you gain clinical exposure, understand different specialties in dentistry, and connect with practicing dentists and dental students. Whether you’re exploring general dentistry or a specialized field, we provide the tools and mentorship to help you succeed in your dental career.
Prerequisite Courses: Common dental school requirements (biology, chemistry, anatomy, etc.).
DAT Preparation: Study resources, practice exams, and recommended prep courses.
Application Process: ADEA AADSAS overview, personal statement guidance, and interview prep.
Clinical & Hands-On Experience: Shadowing dentists, volunteer programs, and hands-on pre-dental workshops.
Networking & Mentorship: Guest speakers, dental student connections, and mock interviews.
Career Exploration: Insights into different medical careers and alternative pathways.
